When my husband and I decided to renovate our 80's style bathroom, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. But I suppose almost every couple goes through it... believing that they can save money by doing most of the work themselves, that they can live with a half completed bathroom for months on end and that their marriage will survive the stresses of differing opinions and style clashes. The marriage survived... :-)
The very first hurdle that we came up with was deciding on the bathroom shower enclosure. Simple enough huh. Well the first part was easy... we both quickly decided that a frameless shower door & enclosure was what we wanted. They are easy to clean (well easier than a normal shower anyway; cleaning the bathroom is not my favourite task so I couldn't call any part of it 'easy') and they look fantastic. They have a nice clean, uncluttered look to theem and make your bathroom look simple but totally elegant and modern. But have you any idea, whatsoever, just how many different types of frameless showers there are? Oh my goodness... and that's where the troubles began. We started by going to our local bathroom suppliers and looking through all of their options but finally figured out that we were better off sitting at home on the internet and finding the style we wanted first, and going from there.
